Dear Parents,
Proverbs starts out "… to know wisdom and instruction, to understand words of insight, to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice and equity; to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth - Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance, to understand a proverb and a saying, the words of the wise and their riddles. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction." (Proverbs 1:2-7) Proverbs 9:10 says, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."

We are pleased to offer one such resource on Tuesday, October 19 as we invite parents to view the IndieFlix screening of Upstanders as well as an LCA Upper School Student Drama Production. Fall Book Fair
We are pleased to partner with Scholastic Books for an online book fair. Our fair will be open October 18-31. The Book Fair Shopping Link will go live on October 18. New this year, your books will ship directly to your home, and should arrive within two weeks of your order.
As you know, Scholastic is not owned by Life Christian Academy. Therefore, while we endorse and encourage reading for every student, we do not endorse every title they sell. By inviting Scholastic into our community, we are raising funds for our library and conveniently getting books into the hands of our readers. Please use discernment when shopping with your children. Two review sites that Mr. Gentile recommends are Plugged In and Common Sense Media.
