Welcome      Grow       Serve      Celebrate

Welcome Rev. Haven!
Sunday we shared a Welcome Meal with Rev. Haven Boyd after our youth-led worship and brought pantry items and gift cards to celebrate her being a part of our PHUMC family.
Don't forget to send her an email: haven@parkwayhillsumc.org to tell her how happy we are that she's joined us as our Pastor of Children and Outreach and that we look forward to getting to know her as we work together.
Our youth did a wonderful job leading us in worship and we give thanks for their witness, energy, and service. This Sunday we continue our Come to the Water worship series with a story about a boat, disciples, waves, fear and faith. I hope to see you this month as we remind ourselves of the waters that name us and claim us. If your summer plans do not allow you to be present in person, remember, you can always engage in worship and give online. May we all come to the water.

July 17: Matthew 14:22-33, “Walking on Water: Let’s get out of the boat”
July 24: Rev. Haven Boyd preaching Acts 8:26-39 “Baptized in Water”
July 31: John 4:4-26 “Stay Hydrated”

My family and I will be on vacation July 18-25. In the event of a pastoral emergency, please call the church office and Linda will pass on the information to the appropriate place.
