COVID-19 Community Stories Now Available Online
|
In December 2022, Carnegie staff created a digital questionnaire that went out to the Boulder County community to solicit stories about life during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of this project are now archived and available on the Carnegie Library for Local History website.
While the questionnaire window has closed, Carnegie Library continues to consider archival donations (including diaries, documents and photographs). The library also invites participation in the oral history program, which preserves long-form interviews about COVID-19 and Boulder County. Please email askcarnegie@boulderlibrary.org for more information.

Camp Damascus by Chuck Tingle
"Rose is a good girl. Finishing high school in small town Montana, she never even thinks about straying from her path--because when she does, flies pour from her mouth and she sees hideous grinning demons following her. But she has no idea where her quest for answers will end up...A thought-provoking YA horror novel ahead of the spooky season."

Library Stories
“The storytellers here are just amazing! They’re so engaging!” - Patron at Meadows Branch who recently moved to the neighborhood and attended storytime with her children.
A North Boulder patron come in and made an impassioned speech about how much they love autorenewal and fine free. They were saying how much easier and less scary it makes things for them and how much they love that it makes using the library a positive experience. They said as they drove here, they were thinking about how expensive it must have been for parents in the old days with all the fines, and how grateful they are that we have taken that barrier away.
