How many years of experience do you have in your field? 18 yrs since I graduated ID fellowship and then spent an extra year in Transplant ID.
What do you enjoy most about being a volunteer faculty member? It is refreshing to meet new young residents from different backgrounds and get to know them. It gives a different perspective of what the next generations are interested in and what their goals are. It is extremely rewarding to know that those few days/weeks on ID rotation could make a difference in someone’s carrier and hopefully help them become the physician that they aim to be.
What are your interests, hobbies? I have always liked shopping. That sounds cliché but it is my "me time"! Actually Dr. Minns portrayed that about me in his PowerPoint at my graduation from Internal Med years ago. I also like reading novels, but unfortunately I only get to do it when on vacation.
