| An Opportunity to SERVE Your Church: CHRISMON ORNAMENT REPAIR
Each year, the youth decorate the Chrismon Tree in the Santuary at the start of Advent. Our ornaments are old and in need of a little tender loving care. Chere Peel will lead us in our repair efforts. (Chere's mom and uncle, Marion Peel and John Green, made these ornaments years ago when Bruce Taylor was the Pastor at PHUMC.) These ornaments are a treasured part of our history and an important part of Advent for our church! Sunday afternoon, November 5th, youth, parents and all willing volunteers are invited to meet in the Youth Room from 4:00-6:00 pm to repair the ornaments. We need LOTS of help! We are all servant leaders at PHUMC; come serve your church with glue and glitter!

Kid's Option: Pizza and lemonade
$7 for adults, $4 for children with a $23 family maximum.

An invitation to Grow your Faith this Advent Usually when we think of the Advent story, Mary, Joseph, and the angel Gabriel come to mind. How exciting to see how our hands have been used to create bunk beds, (Wednesday nights at 6:15 pm), prayer quilts, (Mondays, noon - 4:00 pm) and blankets. (The Yarn Ministry's next meeting is Saturday, November 11th, at Ann Weissenborn's home from 9:00 am - noon.)
