Career Development Center Director Arnold Bell Retires After Career of Service, Leadership

Since the merger of the Career Services and Experiential Learning units in 2011, Arnold Bell, the Career Development Center’s first executive director, served as the steward of its mission. At the end of 2025, Bell closed the book on a nearly 40-year career at NC State as he heads into retirement, leaving behind a legacy of integrity, innovation, and a deep commitment to student success, experiential learning and ethical leadership.
