Dear Partner in Ministry,

All things bright and beautiful,
all creatures great and small,
all things wise and wonderful,
the Lord God made them all.

 – Hymn by Cecil Frances Alexander

The hymn teaches us that all things are made, cherished, and held by God. At GPC we teach that to the children and we preach it in worship. We pray that you feel its truth.

We have chosen this theme for the 2027 annual stewardship campaign, All Things Bright and Beautiful, and we hope you will make a financial pledge to support the life of this congregation. The funds we commit in the annual campaign support the day to day operations of the church; everything from lightbulbs to an exquisite anthem are made possible because of our collective generosity. That, in turn, allows us to share God’s good news in the world.

We pray that we would continue to come together in hope and gratitude, to give generously and joyfully to the work and mission of this congregation. That we would serve the poor, welcome the children, extend hospitality to strangers, and comfort the suffering. And trust that all is held by God.

The final verse of the hymn reads:
God gave us eyes to see them,
and lips that we might tell
how great is God Almighty,
who has made all things well.

Thanks be to God who has made and is making all things well.

In Gratitude and Hope —
Jessica and Meghan
