The following information was shared with your students recently to help them consider transportation options when living off campus and to plan ahead for Fall 2027.

Hi Sophomores and Juniors,
As you consider your living arrangements for Fall 2027, keep in mind the following if you expect to be living off campus:

The overnight commuter permit will be eliminated, as of Fall 2027. Overnight parking in campus lots will no longer be permitted for commuters. This includes students living in Pachyderm Place.
- Many students find it cheaper, easier, and more sustainable to be car-free.

If you will be living off campus and you need a vehicle, ask prospective landlords about off-street parking options or plan to apply for an on-street parking permit.
