Manor House Not Available for Prom Photos on Saturday

With the wonderful weather, it seems wedding season is in full bloom, and the Manor House isn’t able to accommodate prom photos for Chatfield’s prom this year. Here is a note from the owners: “We are very sorry we won’t be able to have prom photos taken this Saturday at the Manor House. We have the house booked for both an AM and PM wedding and will be full all day. We will put signs out and will have staff at the entrance to help with questions. We hope you’ll be able to find some other spots in the beautiful Valley for your photography.”

Definition of Single Family

The Master Association Board will be discussing a possible change to their definition of single family at its April 18 business meeting. Currently it is defined as: “One or more persons related by blood, marriage or adoption, living and cooking together as a single housekeeping unit, exclusive of household servants. A number of persons, but not exceeding six, living and cooking together as a single housekeeping unit, though not related by blood, marriage or adoption, shall be deemed to constitute a family. Family shall not include more than one registered sex offender, unless related by blood, marriage or adoption.” The possible change the Board will be discussing could reduce the number of non-related persons living as a family. Please plan to attend the meeting and share your thoughts with the Board or email Chris Pacetti at chrisp@kcranch.org.
