Education alumna Kelly Taylor named Hazelwood School District Teacher of the Year
Kelly Taylor was named Hazelwood School District Teacher of the Year by her peers. Taylor, an UMSL education graduate, teaches Honors Biology, Principles of Biomedical Science and AP Environmental Science at Hazelwood West High School. She is also a science instructor for the UMSL Bridge Program and has worked as an AVID tutor.

Join us on April 30th from 9-11AM for the Vocational Expo! During the Vocational Expo, students, teachers, and families will have the opportunity to learn about different employers and employment service providers in St. Louis.
The UMSL College of Education has an Elementary Education program that provides the choice of adding the state-certified P-12 endorsement in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). The six-course TESOL program will help practicing teachers and teachers-to-be increase their competence and confidence in integrating the four language modalities into their academic teaching for English Language Learners.
