On October 4, NTID hosted its annual career fair. More than 30 organizations––ranging from federal agencies to nonprofits, schools, and corporations––gathered on campus for the 2024 NTID Career Fair to recruit talented deaf, hard-of-hearing, and interpreting students for co-ops, internships, and full-time positions. Many company representatives were RIT/NTID alumni, now thriving in their careers and serving as inspiring role models for current students. The career fair offered students a unique chance to connect with professionals from various fields, including business, engineering, science, and computing. Enjoy some highlights and images from this day!

We celebrated Brick City Homecoming Weekend October 17-19. The campus was bustling with parents, families, alumni, students, and faculty enjoying a weekend full of events. Our annual NTID Parent Welcome Breakfast had stellar attendance this year, with many RIT/NTID parents and family members joining us! The gathering provided a warm atmosphere for families to connect, share experiences, and engage with NTID faculty and staff. We hope everyone who attended enjoyed meeting new people, learning new things, and gaining insights into our campus community.

NTID Alumni Relations hosted a spirited tailgate for alumni and friends, who then headed to the RIT Men’s Hockey game for an evening of excitement. This year also marks NTID Performing Arts’ 50th year anniversary! We celebrated with a Directors’ Panel as well as an exhibit in our Dyers Arts Center.
