First Friday Adoration, ConFession, and BenedictionNext Friday, September 1, is the First Friday of the month. The 7:45 a.m. Mass in the chapel will conclude with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and be followed by an opportunity for Eucharistic Adoration. Adoration will conclude with benediction at 2:00 p.m. For the security of our campus, we ask those visiting to sign up using this link to commit to a particular time.
Note, too, that the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available during the first PRT (10:35 - 11:10 a.m.). If you are curious about these devotions, call or email Fr. Chris Johnson, S.J. at 317.524.7134 or cjohnson@brebeuf.org.

Catechism of the Catholic Church Revisited +From 7:00-8:30 p.m. on the Thursdays preceding each First Friday this semester (August 31, October 5, November 2, and November 30), Fr. Chris Johnson, S.J. will offer an opportunity to hear again or hear for the first time a summary of what Catholics are called to believe. The sessions will be in the Chapel and are open to everyone. The aim is to be informative. The first half of each session, Fr. Chris will present, and the second half will be open for questions on any topic. This coming Thursday, Fr. Chris will highlight sections of the Prologue and Part One of the Catechism. If it seems like a good way to proceed, on October 5 he will consider Part Two, and on November 2, Part Three. The November 30 session will likely focus on the Scriptures for Advent and Christmas (Fr. Chris hosted a similar conversation about the Scriptures for Lent just before COVID hit in 2020). Again, all are welcome.
