Arie Ringnalda
Arts+Media Director
Dear Parents:
Community, passion and purpose are core tenets of Valor Arts+Media and point to a deeply valued culture where students experience:
  • A sense of belonging,
  • Joy in their creative journey, and
  • Affirmation of their God-given gifts and talents.
Here at Valor, your student can go deep in their creative pursuits — whether they are already serious about visual or performing arts, or trying something for the first time. Arts+Media students are supported by faculty who care for them, who are energized by seeing them grow, and who are grateful to invest in their lives.
We welcome incoming and transfer students and look forward to sharing incredible opportunities that will enrich your family's Valor experience!
This fall, you will hear more about The Valor Fund, which includes our Arts Guild and directly supports the creative opportunities your student will enjoy.
Several Arts+Media opportunities are highlighted below — and there are more on the Incoming Students information pages, such as Conservatory Applications and auditions for some select classes.

Spring Arts Series

For inspiring examples of what your student might choose to pursue, join us for any of our Spring Arts events. Current students showcase their work in lots of venues and expressions, including a Performing Arts Conservatory showcase, Film Showcase, and Symphonics performance.

Summer and Fall Show Auditions

This summer and fall, there are two incredible performance opportunities for incoming students - Little Women, The Musical (August 22-24) and The Importance of Being Earnest (October 4, 5, 11, and 12). Auditions for both shows will be conducted concurrently on May 11 in one time slot for each student. Learn more and sign up for an audition time here.

Summer Arts Camps

Do you know a budding artist or music lover in grades 3–8 — perhaps in your own family or community? Well, they don't have to wait until high school to experience Valor. Our Summer Arts Camps provide a great opportunity for hands-on fun in visual arts and theatre!
If you have any questions about the Arts+Media Program at Valor, we would love to hear from you. Just email Valor Arts and we'll be happy to talk more. We can't wait to have you on campus in just a few months!
As always, reach out to the Student Experience team if you have any questions. Have a great week, and look for your next update next Thursday.
