What is a personal piece of advice that you lean on and could pass on to others?
"Success isn't about working harder; it's about working smarter and with purpose."
I learned early on that hustle alone won’t get you where you want to go. It’s about making the right moves, not just making more moves. Efficiency, delegation, and knowing when to pivot are key.
Best business book you’ve ever read?
The E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber.
It completely shifted my perspective on building a business that works for you instead of trapping you in day-to-day operations. It’s a must-read for any entrepreneur who wants to scale and eventually step back.
One misstep you took in your business that you could caution others about?
Holding on too tightly. In my first business, I was too hands-on for too long, and it slowed down growth. I thought no one could do things as well as I could, but that mindset limited both my business and my freedom. Learning to hire the right people and trust them made all the difference.
How do you de-stress after a particularly hard day?
A long walk—15 miles if I can. It clears my head, helps me process challenges, and gives me space to reset. It’s been a huge part of my personal transformation, physically and mentally.
What’s something about you that would surprise everyone reading this?
I retired at 42 (though I prefer a different term). But instead of slowing down, I’m building new ventures, traveling more, and redefining what work and life balance mean to me.
What part of EO are you most looking forward to this year?
I’m excited to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs who are focused on not just business growth, but personal growth. The conversations, the insights, and the challenges—those are what keep me energized.
Any exciting plans for 2025?
More adventure, more freedom, and more time spent on what truly matters. Whether that’s traveling with my family, exploring new business ideas, or just embracing the unexpected, 2025 is all about saying ‘yes’ to what excites me.
