August is a time of new beginnings, fresh opportunities and renewed energy. Several students graduated in commencement ceremonies this month, making them our newest alumni. I congratulate each one of you and encourage you as the next generation of leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs to make the most of your education.

August also marks the start of a new academic year. The enthusiasm among students, faculty and staff is palpable and helps fuel my own excitement for what lies ahead.
We are building on a productive summer as we begin the 2024-25 academic year. The faculty continues to drive innovation and create impactful experiential learning opportunities for students. They are breaking new ground and creating future leaders in advanced manufacturing, advanced materials, sustainable energy, health innovation and cyber security. We are also delighted to announce that two faculty members from the college have received Fulbright Awards, extending the college's global impact and opening new opportunities for international collaboration.
Our alumni continue to inspire us as they launch their careers and become leaders in government, industry and higher education. They remind us why we are here and how important it is to nurture the next generation. We are also inspired by our partners in industry. The collaboration between PEER & WISE and GE Vernova through the Next Engineers: Engineering Academy Greenville exemplifies how these partnerships can drive educational success and provide life-changing opportunities for students. I thank all who remain in touch and all who support the college with time and treasure.
As we launch a new academic year, your support is crucial. If you would like to help us shape the future, please consider making a gift to the college by clicking the "Make a Gift" button at the bottom of this email. Your investment will help ensure the college remains a place where future leaders are made.
Sincerely,
Anand K. Gramopadhye, Dean
