Celebrating University College Staff and Faculty: Jennifer Keeney

As we celebrate a full Decade of Discovery at University College (UC) we are taking a moment to honor the incredible individuals who serve as the heartbeat of the community. We asked several staff and faculty members from UC’s departments and units to share their stories. Over the next month, we’ll be sharing question and answer pieces to help you get to know these outstanding faculty and staff members, starting with Jennifer Kenney, a program coordinator in the Office of Undergraduate Research.

• Wednesday is Day of Giving; learn how your support can help Pack Essentials launch a brand new program, and choose any DASA program you wish to donate to.
• Well With Pride, in celebration of LGBTQ Health Awareness Week, will feature several events throughout the week of March 30 through April 3 to help the campus community learn about the elements of holistic wellness.
• NC State’s Student Media outlets brought home several awards at the 2026 North Carolina College Media Association conference.
• The Gregg Museum of Art & Design will host a Communicating Science interest kickoff meeting on Monday, March 30 from 4-5 p.m.

Reminders

• The second annual Student Success Symposium is set for Tuesday, May 19.
• The Office of Information Technology has added a new social media accessibility training, you can register via Reporter.
• The artists for LIVE at Lake Raleigh 2026 have been announced. The free outdoor concerts take place on April 9 and 23 and May 7 and 21.
• The current cycle for SHRA employees ends March 31, with evaluations due May 15.
• Please take a moment to review the schedule for the close of the 2025-26 fiscal year.
