RVR Committee Positions Now Open
Communities are made stronger by homeowner involvement. If you want to be involved and have a voice in the future of RVR, we are currently looking for a few additional members for the Long-Range Planning Committee.
If you are interested in participating on the committee, and can commit to representing all 552 homes, not just your neighborhood and friends, please click here to submit your statement of interest by Tuesday, Mar. 15.

No Idiling Please!
We would like to remind everyone to limit their vehicle idling time when parked in front of the Ranch House.
The Town of Carbondale limits vehicle idling to two minutes, and Colorado Revised Statute 42-4-1206, more commonly known as the "puffer" law, allows law enforcement officers across the state to ticket individuals who have left a vehicle running unattended for any period of time.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Kids should hop on over to the Ranch House for a family friendly celebration on Sunday, Apr. 17 | 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. The morning will feature an Easter egg hunt, special craft, face painting and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself! The hunt goes quickly so be sure to arrive on time.

Furry Friend of The Week
Hello, my name is Sophie, I am the newest member of the Lynch Family. I overheard my mom and dad talking and they said that I’m a Miniature Poodle, whatever that means. I was born 8 months ago in the Arkansas mountains—they’re much smaller than the mountains here! One day Cara and the Lynch girls just showed up and we went on a road trip to Carbondale Colorado. I guess I must have been pretty special for them to come all that way just for little ole’ me. I’ve been taking care of them ever since.
I have a whole lot of energy and they tell me that my cuteness is my biggest strength. My favorite game is to grab the kid’s stuffed animals and get chased around the house while ruthlessly defending my position. I’m a fast little sucker. I would never chew up their stuffies, but don’t tell the kids that, because I really love that game.
I get really excited when I meet new humans, or new dogs…or if I haven’t seen you for 5 minutes or so. I can hardly control myself! I really like to lick faces too. I will lick your face for as long as you'll let me! Oh, and I love to snuggle with humans; I use that to get my way. My mom says that I’m irresistible. I’m not sure what that means but I sure do like her, she’s my favorite human because she takes the best care of me!

RVR App Now Available
The RVR Ranch House mobile phone app is now available and ready for download on the Google Play and Apple App store! You can find the apps to download at the links below:
Or, you can search your app store for "River Valley Ranch". The app will use the same login credentials as the member portal. If you have not yet logged into the portal, you can do so by accessing your account here.
With the RVR Ranch House app, you can reserve lap lanes and tennis courts, sign up for fitness classes, register for events, use a barcode to enter the Ranch House, and manage your membership online.

Green Tip
Please enjoy the following eco-friendly tidbit brought to you by Friends of the Environment:
Did you know that the Town of Carbondale uses a snow melt product that is all natural and pet-friendly? Those small blue granules that you sometimes see on icy areas of the roads and sidewalks are applied by the Town. Not to be outdone, RVR also uses a pet-friendly product. Those little green crystals you see on the parking lot and walkways of the Ranch House are coated with a melting enhancer to thaw the ice. This product contains no dangerous chemicals, can be handled safely with bare hands, and is 100% non-toxic to pets. Thank you to the Town of Carbondale and to Travis and the Maintenance Team at RVR for keeping our dogs safe! And although the ice melt product is safe, it's still a good idea to wipe your dog's paws off after a walk around the neighborhood.

A reminder to all Boundary homeowners that the ballot to vote on an Amendment recommended by The Boundary Board of Directors was emailed yesterday. If you did not receive the ballot please email board@theboundary.org. The Boundary Board of Directors encourages every Boundary owner to vote on this important issue.

Master Swim
Thursdays | 5:30 p.m.
Join us in the lap pool for Master Swim with Dave Clark! Master Swim is a low impact structured workout using techniques of interval training in an atmosphere of fitness, fun and friendship. This is a great opportunity to improve your swimming skills while working out! Participants should be able to swim at least two lengths of the lap pool at a minimum.
