Thomas M. O’Dorisio, MD, endocrinologist, is currently Co-Leader Gastrointestinal Neuroendocrine MOG and Professor Emeritus within the University of Iowa. He has over four decades of experience and specializes in carcinoid and neuroendocrine tumors that include familial neuroendocrine syndromes.

In 2017, Dr. O’Dorisio and his wife, NET specialist Dr. M. Sue O’Dorisio, were honored by the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS) with the NANETS Lifetime Achievement Award which recognizes an individual(s) who, over the course of their career, has provided outstanding contributions to neuroendocrine disease management through research, clinical practice or educational initiatives, as well as exceptional leadership in NANETS and dedication to its mission.
