Fostering medical professionals' interest in homeless health care will help increase access to quality care for people without homes. We encourage licensed, board-eligible primary care physicians who are joining select New York City homeless health organizations (Care for the Homeless, Janian Medical Care, and Project Renewal) to apply for a one-year fellowship in homeless health care.
Learn more about a collaboration between the NYC Collaborative for Homeless Healthcare and Montefiore Department of Family & Social Medicine (DFSM), which offers a curriculum to physicians interested in honing their knowledge and skills in providing care to people experiencing homelessness. The fellowship will involve direct patient care at one of three HCH organizations, ongoing training, and mentored scholarly work.
