Attendees will aquire knowledge on how to: make existing facilities safer, increase emergency preparedness, understand critical response, identify pre-attack indicators, and implement proven mitigation strategies that increase survivability. You will leave empowered!

Please feel free to bring team members as well as spouses/significant others.

Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am and training begins at 8:00 am.

EO will provide worksheets and a bit of suggested structure as a guide for these meetings.

What is a personal piece of advice (business advice/saying/quote) that you lean on and could pass on to others?
Given I’ve been coaching youth lacrosse for years with my kids, a big saying right now in the Hern household is ‘Everyone wants to be a dog, until its time do what real dogs do.’

Best business book you’ve ever read?
Chop Wood and Carry Water

One misstep you took in your business that you could caution others about?
At one point I was constantly stepping over dollars to save nickels. I would spend hours trying to do something tactically when I should have just engaged an expert who could do it much faster and better and then I could be working on more strategic higher value add items.

How to you de-stress after a particularly hard day?
Anything outdoors: run, cycle/peloton, clayshoot, fly fish, play lacrosse.

What’s something about you that would surprise everyone reading this?
I foster kids and so we flex up from our 3 biological children up to as many as 5-6 with the bonus babies.

What part of EO are you most looking forward to?
Forum – cannot wait to learn from my peers and help each other grow and level up personally and in our businesses.

Any exciting plans for this Fall?
Celebrating my 14th wedding anniversary in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Georgia.
