Support options for returning to work after a weeklong closure |
The devastating winter storm that closed campus all last week will certainly have a lasting impact on many in our PSU community — professionally, academically and personally. As we catch up from power and internet outages, canceled classes, missed tests and events, and countless other disruptions, here are resources provided by HR that may be useful to you at this time:
|
- Reporting time and leave from the storm: Monitor your email for instructions from HR.
-
Now is a good time to update/renew your remote work agreement, referring to Remote Work Guidelines, especially if you are experiencing ongoing challenges from the storm and need some accommodations during recovery.
-
Supervisors can consult the Flex-Work at PSU webpage for guidance on establishing creative solutions for employees who need flexibility as they recover from the impacts of the storm.
-
And remember the EAP (Employee Assistance Program) offers a variety of support for your wellbeing including mental health, financial, and legal services. Employees are strongly encouraged to use this support to overcome personal or professional difficulties related to this storm or otherwise.
