Ghost Stories: Classic Tales of Horror and Suspense by Various Authors

“Halloween is coming, and it's the perfect time to pick up this excellent collection of classic ghost stories by authors including Sir Walter Scott, Charles Dickens, and other luminaries. If you want a good scare without gore and over-the-top violence, this is the book for you. And there is some fine general story-telling here, too. My favorite tale was the Edith Wharton selection, "The Lady's Maid's Bell," a spooky commentary on marriage and the enduring power of female friendships.” - Terzah, Collection Development

“The library is my favorite place!” said a teen at Main.
"We love it and look forward to it every week! Thank you so much! It is the best storytime!!!" - Tabetha Fore talking about "Art and Play in Spanish" at NoBo
I overheard a little boy, who was around 3 years old, and his mother talking as they were walking in the main doors of the library.  The little boy says, “Mommy is this Costco?”  The mother replies,  “No, honey this place is called the LIBRARY.”  - Linda, Materials Handler at Main
