College sports executive and University of New Orleans alumna Kiki Baker Barnes ('97 & '14), who holds both a bachelor’s degree and doctorate (Ed. Admin) from UNO, knew without a doubt that she was a spectacular shooting guard. She’d excelled at the position all through high school, which is why she balked when her junior college basketball coach suggested she move to point guard.
