Welcome      Grow       Serve      Celebrate

Pastor Dawn welcomes Pam Smith, left, and Jennifer and Gregg Weaver to our PHUMC family on Sunday, March 20. Pam transfers from Church of Dekalb in Dekalb, Mississippi, and Gregg and Jennifer join us from Crossgates United Methodist Church in Brandon.  As a church we commit to being their family, to welcome them, love them, and encourage them. Please extend a welcome to the newest members of our church family: Pam Smith and Gregg Weaver and Jennifer Weaver.
This Lent we remember, celebrate and practice embodied faith. Each Sunday we lift a story of Jesus and reflect on what Jesus teaches us about practicing embodied faith.  Last Sunday Jesus gave us the image of the caring gardener. Unfortunately, our video for in-person worship didn't cooperate. Click above to listen to Shelley Powers share lessons from her garden..
Join us this Sunday as we look at Luke 15:1-3;11-32, "A Seat at the Table." We will have some of our PHUMC Youth members sharing in worship. I hope to see you and invite you to pray over how God is calling you this season to practice embodied faith. We have given some ways you can more fully enter this season, but go where the Spirit leads!  No matter how you choose to walk through this season, we ALL walk it together.  May we observe a Holy Lent.  May we practice embodied faith.

"Their light still shines."

A returning tradition at our Easter celebration will be the lighting of our Easter Candles. You may participate by designating a candle in honor or memory of a loved one. Candles are $10 per person/candle. Funds will go to raising the next generation in our Youth Ministry. Payment must be submitted with request by Vanco App or by cash or check. Forms available at church or here.

Easter Yard Signs Are Here!
Come get your sign today; stick it in your yard and share the hope that is our gospel story. Signs are $8. You can pay via our mobile app or online (look for Easter yard sign!) or bring a check to the office. We only have 50, so it will be first come, first serve.
Grab your Easter baskets, invite a friend and get ready for the hunt!  Sunday, April 10 at 4:00 we invite all children through 4th grade to join us in the Garden Multipurpose room for an Easter activity.  Afterwards we will head outside for the egg hunt!  I hear the Easter bunny may even make an appearance.  Help us prepare by bringing pre-filled plastic Easter eggs to the church by noon Sunday, April 10.  We ask that you try and avoid eggs that may include candy containing nuts or peanut butter.  Eggs filled with things other than candy are also welcomed.
