JULY 19–21

We’re more than halfway through July, and while I am shocked at how fast summer is flying by, I am also thrilled by midsummer delights. From seeing lavender fields in full bloom to dining on the waterfront, there is still plenty to check off my summer bucket list. (And that list just got longer with the 10 events happening this weekend!) Plus, the playground of the week has stunning views of Mount Rainier on a clear day, and the weather forecast sure looks promising.
Everyone is welcome on Saturday, Aug. 3 in N.E. Seattle. Free face painting, tumbling and drumming all day. Kids' Parade at 6 p.m. Grand Seafair Parade at 7 p.m.
Join Boys & Girls Clubs of King County Aug. 17, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at Central Park. Free supplies, haircuts, physicals and more to prepare your kids for school success!
