Green Tip
Please enjoy the following eco-friendly tidbit brought to you by Friends of the Environment:
Have too many books? Donating books frees up space in your home, and also helps the environment. There are many local places to donate, depending on the genre and subject matter. Local venues include Little Free Libraries, Thrift Stores, Schools, Libraries, Restore, Retirement Homes, and the Raise a Reader program. Our own Ranch House also accepts books and loans them out too. Ensure books are gently used and in good condition and call first to make sure your specific books will be accepted. So, please recycle your unwanted books and give them a second life.
