Help Music March Forward on Day of Giving

This Day of Giving, NC State’s Department of Performing Arts and Technology (DPAT) will celebrate its past, present and future with a generous challenge gift. When the Music Enhancement Fund reaches 200 total gifts on March 26, an anonymous donor will give $100,000 to the marching band.

Kevin Howell Named NC State Chancellor

Kevin Howell, chief external affairs officer at UNC Health and the UNC School of Medicine, has been named NC State’s next chancellor. Howell succeeds Randy Woodson, who is retiring after 15 years of service as chancellor.

With Day of Giving fast approaching, the DASA Day of Giving Toolkit, available for DASA departments, is a great resource to help you plan your strategy.
March is Women’s HERstory Month, and the Women’s Center will be celebrating all month long under the theme, “In Full Bloom.” Join the center for Kickoff, In Full Bloom: A Celebration of Women Through Student Art on March 18.
With the 2024-25 fiscal year winding down, purchase deadlines are approaching. The deadline for large purchase requisitions ($5,000 or more) is March 28, and the deadline for all other purchases is April 30. The technology purchasing deadline for this year is Friday, April 11.
New this year, the Student Art Sale will be held at the Gregg Museum of Art & Design on Saturday, April 19 from 1-4 p.m. This is open to all students, and submissions will be accepted until April 4.
