RVR Author Releases New Book
RVR Homeowner W. Club Automation Launches
Tuesday, Feb. 15!
The Ranch House staff has been working behind the scenes on a very exciting project for several weeks now. We are happy to announce the launch of new club management software, Club Automation, on Tuesday, Feb. 15.
Club Automation will manage all Ranch House programming, including fitness, tennis, lap lanes, and even social events! Our new software is user friendly, streamlined and equipped with a multifaceted communication center we know you will love. Club Automation also comes with a mobile app and features an online member portal that will give our members a more interactive and customized experience.
It's our goal to make the transition to Club Automation as seamless as possible. We will host walk-in tutorial sessions at the Ranch House the week we go live.
We invite you to attend one of the following tutorial sessions at the Ranch House:
- Tuesday, Feb. 15 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Session with Club Automation professional.
- Wednesday, Feb. 16 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Session with Club Automation. professional
- Thursday, Feb. 17 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m Ali will be available to assist with Club Automation questions and login assistance.

Furry Friend of
The Week
Hi, we are Rand and Obi. We are the proud fur babies of Rachel, who works at the Front Desk.
We love goofing around at home, taking naps or hitting the trails. We also love exploring new places and running around in the snow. We try to be good but sometimes we just can’t help ourselves. We love it when Rachel brings us treats home from the Ranch House to tell us we’ve been good boys. We love waking her up with kisses in the morning so she doesn’t need an alarm clock!
You might see us walking around RVR sometimes. Rand (corgi) loves to make friends with everyone and Obi can be a little reserved but once he earns your trust he’s a little love bug!

European Catering Valentine's Menu
Let European Caterers do the cooking this Valentine's Day! The Roaring Fork Valleys premiere catering company will be offering a very special Valentine's Day menu for the upcoming holiday.
A beautiful four course meal will be delivered to the Ranch House for pick up on Monday, Feb. 14, orders placed by Friday, Feb. 11.
Here's how it works:
1. View the menu by clicking HERE. There is a 2 person minimum.
2. Call European cateres at 970-920-4262 or email eat@eurocataspen.com by Friday, Feb. 11 at 5 p.m. to place your order.
3. Meals will be dropped off at the Ranch House between 5-5:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 14 for pick up.

Homeowners of the Boundary Meeting
The Boundary Association Board of Directors has called a Special Meeting for Boundary homeowners on Thursday, Mar. 3 at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Ranch House upstairs Board Room and Zoom.
The Special Owners Meeting has only one agenda item: Review the Proposed Second Amendment to Amended and Restated Declaration. A draft of the Amendment can be viewed at The Boundary website; theboundary.org.

Speeding in RVR
Last summer, the Board authorized the purchase of a radar device to collect data on vehicle speeds within the community to determine how fast, and where people were speeding.
This data collection is the first step in getting our arms around the speeding issue. We will continue to gather numbers from our radar device and engage in assistance from Carbondale PD with our findings.
We have seen a trend of increased violations on Saturdays and Sundays. The posted speed limit throughout RVR is 20 mph. Please adhere to this signage and the law and do not exceed 20 mph at any time while driving in RVR. Should you have visitors on the weekend, please remind them to drive cautiously while traveling through the neighborhood.

Green Tip
Are you interested in RVR becoming a more sustainable, healthier, and environmentally conscious neighborhood? So are we! In our era of climate change, drought, wildfires, and emission reduction goals, we all have great ideas on ways to improve our community. We will highlight a green tip of the week periodically in the newsletter to help bring this topic to the forefront.

Carbondale's municipal code states that "Idling of vehicles wastes fuel, creates pollution, causes engine wear and produces harmful effects to the environment." That's why it is illegal to idle your car in Carbondale and violators may be fined. So if you are in the drive-up area to run in and get your mail, please turn off your engine. For those of you with Electric Vehicles, congrats!
