This issue showcases some of the remarkable work that plays a key role in shaping the leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs of the future, while tackling some of the globe's most pressing challenges. We are using cutting-edge techniques and tools such as artificial intelligence to create advanced materials, help secure the nation’s energy future and improve lives in ways that sometimes go unnoticed in everyday life, such as keeping flights on time and recycling glass. We also celebrate the intersection of arts and academia, student achievements in quantum computing and the college’s staff—the unsung heroes who underpin our success.
Finally, I want to wish you all a holiday season filled with joy, warmth, and good cheer. Enjoy this special time with your family and friends, and know how deeply I appreciate your generosity and commitment to our mission.
Happy holidays and wishing everyone a bright and happy New Year!
Anand K. Gramopadhye, Dean
