NinjaZone is more than just a class — it's a high-energy fusion of obstacle training, gymnastics, martial arts and freestyle movement designed to help kids build strength, coordination and confidence while having fun.

Open to both YMCA members and non-members, NinjaZone offers age-appropriate classes that let kids learn at their own pace, level up through our Mission Ceremony system and grow in both skill and character.

At YMCA Out of School Time (OST), kids discover who they are and what they can achieve — and your family gets the support it needs. This safe place outside of school welcomes kids ages 5 – 12 for positive experiences in academics, health and wellness and social-emotional learning, with passionate staff who are mentors and role models. 

YMCA OST registration is available at 23 sites throughout the Denver metro area.

Fall into fun with YMCA Youth Sports! Our Fall I season opens June 23, with programs designed to build skills, confidence and friendships. From soccer to flag football to volleyball and more, our leagues and clinics offer something for every young athlete. Important Dates: 

Hi, I'm JC Watne, Senior Manager of Sports at the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver and a former collegiate athlete at Colorado Christian University. During my time as a student-athlete, I competed on the baseball team and earned multiple program records — including All-Time Saves Leader, Single Season Saves Leader and Single Season ERA Leader.  

This fall, I'll be helping lead our YMCA Sport Academies, where we'll focus on developing athletes at a high level on the court and field — through skill training, competitive gameplay, and purposeful coaching. But more importantly, we’ll emphasize building character, leadership and confidence that extends far beyond basketball. 

Whether your athlete is just starting out or looking to elevate their game, our academies are built to challenge, support and empower them every step of the way.
