Do you have the sense that your quiz or test questions could be improved? Use the question or item analysis data that Blackboard and other testing platforms provide to improve the test or quiz for next time.
To help with that, we liked the table recently posted by the University of Central Florida that is kind of a cheat sheet on what the data means and how to use it. It’s a helpful way to interpret the item difficulty and discrimination numbers as well as other common test or quiz data.
You can access your assessment analytics in Blackboard Original by going to Tests, under "Tests, Surveys, and Pools", clicking the drop down menu next to the assessment name, then selecting "Item Analysis". In Blackboard Ultra the question analysis is accessed by clicking on the three dots to the right of the test.
