It seems like with another Winter Storm Watch in the mix, it is a good time remind families what this means for 4-H.  If there is a Winter Storm Warning or Chippewa County Schools are closed (generally CFASD is what we look at for the county) 4-H programming will be cancelled.  

If there is a Winter Weather Advisory, please use best discretion.  If something can be moved to a remote and virtual setting, please consider this as an option.

As part of the grant, youth who have never been to Washington D.C. before are encouraged to applied.  The Learning Journey application is open to youth currently grades 8-11 and can be found using the button below. Please see the Google Form and the email that went out for more information!

The 2023 Tri-County Performing Arts Festival will be held on February 25th at Elk Mound High School (location to be confirmed).

For those who are new to the Tri-County Performing Festival, this is an opportunity for individuals, clubs or other groups of 4-H youth to perform a play or a musical number in front of several judges and get feedback in either Music or Drama Festival sections.  It allows a young person to grow in confidence, learn teamwork, and perform in front of an audience. 

The Speaking Festival provides opportunities for individual or very small groups to practice speaking in public in front of a judge, either reading a story or poem, original speech, or giving a demonstration, among other things.
