In the USA, the popular Grace Farms brand has unveiled a new line of easy-to-brew iced tea products. Included in the line-up is a Rooibos chai iced tea, which the company has described as one of their favourite summer flavours. 

According to their own product description, their Rooibos chai tea is a smooth and flavourful blend of caffeine free Rooibos, cinnamon, and spices that offers a sugar-free sweetness and a honey-like flavour full of antioxidants. 

The tea can be brewed using the hot brew or sun/cold brew methods.  

At the annual World Drink Awards, a Rooibos brandy was listed as one of the top brandies globally. The drink in question is Bezalel’s Rooibos 5-Year-Old Whiskey.

According to the adjudicators this drink is the first of its kind and, as per the producer, it is “a truly South African brandy with an unforgettable first whiff, dominated by caramel and intense orange peel on the nose... dark chocolate, orange and smoky spice on the palate, followed by a hint of lingering Rooibos.”
