IN MEMORIAM:
Avram J. Goldberg and
Cheryl Aronson
We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Avram J. Goldberg, a former member of the Hebrew College Board of Trustees and generous supporter of the College, and Cheryl Aronson, a longtime champion of adult learning at Hebrew College and beloved member of the Greater Boston Jewish community.
Goldberg was the former chairman and president of Stop & Shop, alongside his wife, who also held top positions at the company, which her family founded. Aronson, VP of Israel engagement at Hillel International and a longtime staff member at CJP, was the inspiration behind Ikkarim, the forerunner to Hebrew College's Parenting Through a Jewish Lens program.
May their families be comforted among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
