A Message from the Boulder Library Foundation
Dear Boulder Library Lover,
Did you know that the Boulder Library Foundation funds more than 90 percent of the programming at the Boulder Public Library? We are proud to support the library in providing innovative and engaging literacy, cultural, and creative programming. In the past four years, program attendance is up a whopping 63 percent. But in order to be able to continue to support the library, we need your help!
Here are just a few of the amazing programs that we fund with your support:
  • BoulderReads! Teaching adult learners to read and write English.
  • BLDG61  The Library's innovative makerspace gives participants a free community workshop that provides maker education and technology to the public in a creative and inclusive environment.
  • Canyon Gallery Exhibits Highlighting engaging interactive and timely topics. This year has included everything from the "Sweaters of Sam Barsky" to "Facing Rocky Flats."
  • Jaipur Literature Festival An annual free event that gives Boulder a chance to engage with world famous authors.
  • Storytime A favorite reading program for young children.
  • Maria Rogers Oral History Program Recording interviews with longtime residents of Boulder, in order to preserve Boulder's history - in partnership with Carnegie Library for Local History.
In these times of leaner city budgets, the Foundation's support of first-class programming, available to all in our community, becomes even more important. And that's where you come in.
Please donate to the Boulder Library Foundation today.  Many thanks to you!
Many of our events are generously funded by the
