Tonight, after supper, we will be putting together
"Care Packages"
to send to our college students as they finish papers and study for final exams. Be sure to sign your name to a note of encouragement to add to the boxes along with homemade treats, granola bars, popcorn, etc. (Drop off your treats anytime today, or bring them with you tonight.)

The following two Wednesdays,
April 27th and May 4th, will be our
Bunk Bed Blitz!
Plan for the whole family to come out, share a quick supper, then sand, stain and assemble bunk beds. We have 14 children waiting for a safe and comfortable bed in which to sleep!

Ladies: We have a great group of women already planning to attend the Women's Luncheon this Saturday, April 23rd, from 11 am-1 pm, but there is room for more! Each table at the event is being dressed by a different hostess, so expect to see some lovely, original and creative place settings. Our engaging and entertaining speaker, Margo Hemphill, will talk to us about principles to help us deal with the ups and downs of life. Don't miss it!

Event Cost is $10, payable at the door, with all proceeds benefitting the Back Pack Ministry.

We are so excited to applaud the accomplishments of TWENTY-THREE graduates in our Parkway Hills family. Bruce just read their bios and said he feels like a slacker now! (He doesn't even know how many awards and commendations had to be left out of the program due to space restraints.)

Bishop Swanson
will lead us in Community Worship and Celebration of what God is doing throughout our district this Sunday evening at 6:00 pm. Our district superintendent, Stephen Cook will be here, we will feature the Choir from Anderson UMC, along with our own Adult Choir, Handbell Choir, and a solo by Marlee McLain. Help us have a great turnout for this evening of music, word and diversity, glorifying God with other churches in our area!
