Packapalooza™ Is This Week!

Packapalooza™ week is finally upon us! This year’s all-day street festival and block party is set for Saturday, Aug. 22 from 2-10 p.m. on Hillsborough Street. Featuring food, games, vendor booths, musical performances, fireworks and a celebration of all things Wolfpack, there’s fun to be had for the whole family!

• NC State LIVE presents Black Box Dance Theatre’s We Lift Each Other in Stewart Theatre on Friday, Aug. 21 at 7:30 p.m.
• This season, University Theatre brings classic stories to new life with Metamorphoses, Spring Awakening and Sense and Sensibility. You can also enjoy the 2026 Creative Artist Award winning comedy, The Color of Death written by NC State student Silas Davis. Bundle and save up to 20% off the regular season pricing through Oct. 11. • Take a look back at astronaut and Wolfpack alumna Christina Koch’s experiences as a Technician photographer as she prepares to return to campus next week.
• The Before We Knew Better exhibit celebrating the work of Lamar Whidbee and Chris Facey is open through Sept. 25 in the African-American Cultural Center’s art gallery.
• To support campus-wide digital accessibility efforts, the accessibility hub has been updated with more robust resources and training information.
