How Do I Get Rid of Tree Limbs?

The storms this past weekend wreaked havoc on trees throughout Ken-Caryl Ranch. Here are two great options to get rid of downed tree limbs:
  • As part of the regular curbside trash service, Waste Connections will take up to six bundles of branches less than four feet in length, no greater than one foot in diameter, less than 40 pounds, and tied for easy removal.
  • Bring your tree limbs to the Ken-Caryl Ranch Community Recycling Event on Saturday, May 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Ranch House Parking Lot.

Newborn Wildlife Usually Better Off Left Alone

With spring and early summer comes a rebirth of Colorado’s wildlife. Colorado Parks and Wildlife asks Colorado residents and visitors to please refrain from touching or approaching the newborns so that they have a chance to thrive in their natural habitat. See the Ranger Field Notes article for more information.
