  • On March 8, Health and Exercise Studies Senior Lecturer and Health Minor Coordinator Joy Kagendo will speak at Wake Tech’s “Inspire Inclusion: Amplifying Women’s Voices” event in Wake Tech’s Health Science building.
  • There’s still time to apply and be recognized as a Well Wolfpack Certified Organization for your unit or department’s efforts to infuse well-being into the workplace. Submit your application by March 18 at 5 p.m.
  • Join Wellness and Recreation and PNC Bank for the first Money Matters Challenge. Walk through two weeks of guided financial wellness activities that will boost your awareness and knowledge while gaining valuable resources. Register by March 22; three winners will be selected for a prize bundle!
  • Three members of the Campus Health team have been selected to facilitate workshops at the annual meeting of the South College Health Association (SCHA) in Ft. Lauderdale this week. Daniel Passono, in partnership with Danielle Jusko from UNC-Wilmington, will co-lead a workshop titled ” Programming with a Purpose: Using the Calendar when planning and implementing health promotion initiatives.” Lindsey Harrigan, Campus Health’s lead dietitian, will delve into “The Complicated Relationship Between PCOS, Eating Disorders, and Mood Disorders,” while Robbye Brooks will address “Implementing, Integrating and Growing Physical Therapy at College Health Centers.”
  • The Department of Performing Arts and Technology offers a free dance master class to NC State faculty, staff and students.
  • Dominick Rapone: Nature’s Whispers” is open through April 22 at the Crafts Center.
  • Mental Health Ambassador applications are open and due by March 17. Please encourage your students to apply.
  • Remind your students that submissions for the Student Art Sale are due March 31.
  • April 5 is the deadline for all technology purchases.
