2026 Membership Update:
To continue offering the wide variety of classes, social events, and resources you love, NESA’s annual membership fee will see a modest $10 increase, effective November 17, 2025.
The new fee of $40 helps us keep pace with rising costs while maintaining fair and comparable pricing to other local senior centres. Your membership makes everything we do possible, and we thank you for helping our community thrive!

Not receiving reminders for your NESA activities?
We’re aware of a software issue causing reminder emails not to send consistently. Our development team is working on a fix and we appreciate your patience.
In the meantime, here are some ways to keep track of your programs:
- Log in to your NESA account to view your electronic invoice.
- Call us at 780-496-6969 for a list of your programs.
- Record your program dates in a calendar.
- Visit the front desk for a printed invoice copy.

Christmas ConcertFriday, December 5, 2025 | 1:30pm-3:30pm
Join us at the Northgate Lions Recreation Centre for a festive afternoon of music and holiday cheer! Enjoy a delightful mix of classic Christmas carols and modern holiday favorites performed by our talented Choralairs and the Handbell Choir. Bring your friends and family and get into the holiday spirit with beautiful voices and joyful sounds. Don’t miss this special in-person celebration of the season! Caterology will be serving pie and coffee/tea.

Travel Club - Taste of the Atlantic TourNESA’s Travel Club is hosting a tour to Atlantic Canada! From September 1-16, 2026, members will journey through all four Maritime provinces, including St. John’s, Newfoundland, Halifax, and Nova Scotia. Enjoy breathtaking scenery, rich culture, and memorable experiences with fellow travellers. Couples, friends, and singles are all welcome! All breakfasts, plus several lunches and dinners, are included, with plenty of time to explore local sights and coastal charm along the way.

Grocery Gift Cards Did you know that NESA sells grocery gift cards for Sobeys, Safeway, and Save-On Foods? For every grocery card you buy from NESA, our senior's recreation centre earns a small percentage from each card sale. Those funds then go towards our various seniors fundraising initiatives at NESA.
If you are interested in purchasing a grocery gift card, please visit us during our office hours.
