New COVID Coffee Chat: Delivering Health Care in Isolation and Quarantine Facilities for People Without HomesTuesday, April 28 | 12-1 p.m. CT
Homeless populations face unique challenges in the COVID-19 pandemic. Staying in congregate facilities and living on the streets puts this population at increased risk of infection, and higher rates of chronic disease increase risks of complication and death. Many cities are creating isolation and quarantine facilities in motels, convention centers, and other settings to help manage COVID-19's spread among people without homes.
Join us to hear about workforce strategies for delivering care in these settings and best practices in service delivery. Hosted in partnership with the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved, this discussion will continue our now twice-weekly COVID Coffee Chat webinars occurring each Tuesday and Friday from 12-1 p.m. CT. Stay tuned for more information about upcoming offerings!
