LINC Match Dollars Available Now
This year, the United Way Foundation of the Capital Region is offering a special match program for donors age 30 and under who want to join United Way’s newest young professionals’ group – United Way LINC (Lead. Impact. Network. Change.).
New or existing donors* ages 22-30 who pledge $182 or more to United Way’s Community Impact Fund or pilot projects can receive matching funds to “step up” to LINC’s membership level of $250.
*Current LINC members are not eligible for this match.
This is a limited offer. Only the first 70 donors who opt into the program will receive matching funds. To sign up, visit www.uwcr.org/linc-match.

Brews and Blankies Event in December
Join us for United Way of the Capital Region’s Bridges Society, Women’s Leadership Network and LINC joint holiday party event, “Brews and Blankies,” on Tuesday, December 10, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Appalachian Brewing Company in Harrisburg.
Attendees will enjoy food and networking while assembling no-sew blankets for local people in need. Entertainment will be provided by Shea Quinn and Len LeChene from The Luv Gods.

LINC Up @ Newfangled
United Way of the Capital Region’s LINC group is hosting its first LINC Up hang-out at Newfangled Brew Works at 8001 Union Station Boulevard, Harrisburg, on Friday, December 13, starting at 5:30 p.m. Whether you drop by for a little or stay for a while, you won’t want to miss celebrating the end of the work week with members of LINC!
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best ugly Christmas/holiday sweaters to show off their holiday spirit.

Volunteers Needed for Christmas Blessings Event
Looking for a way to give back this holiday season? Sign up to participate in this year’s Christmas Blessings on December 17, from 2:45-6 p.m. at New Hope Ministries in Lemoyne. United Way of the Capital Region’s LINC group will work alongside the Women of Tocqueville to help local people in need shop for holiday presents for their families.
