Virtual Clerks Against Domestic Violence Workshop
October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, a topic that I care deeply about. According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced some form of physical violence in their lifetime.
In observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, my office will host a special virtual edition of our “Clerks Against Domestic Violence” workshop as a Zoom webinar on Thursday, October 29th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The virtual event will cover topics such as how to file a restraining order, information from Harbor House of Central Florida, stalking/cyberstalking awareness from the Victim Service Center of Central Florida, and a self-defense class conducted by the Orlando Police Department.
This online event is free and open to the public. I hope you will join us to learn more! Click the button below to register.

Join Us for Operation Green Light
I'm pleased to announce my office will be offering a virtual Operation Green Light this year the week of November 9-13.  To keep people healthy and safe, the event will be held online only via our website for Orange County customers with outstanding traffic tickets and criminal fines.
Operation Green Light gives customers the opportunity to pay overdue court obligations while saving the 25 percent collections surcharge. You don’t even need to come in to our offices to participate! Customers may also be eligible for a payment plan and have their suspended driver licenses reinstated if all requirements are met.
While the collections fees are being waived, a down payment is required for a payment plan and reinstatement fees are applicable.
This initiative aims to help thousands of people in Orange County with overdue traffic tickets or criminal fines whose driver licenses have been suspended. No appointment or registration necessary.  We will soon have more details on our website at myorangeclerk.com.
Watch the Child Support Legal Matters Online Forum
My office hosted a special virtual edition of our Legal Matters forum series as an online Zoom webinar to provide information and answer questions about child support and family law.
Featured topics in this legal educational event included a roles and services overview of the Clerk's Office and the Department of Revenue, perspective from the judiciary, and an interactive Q&A.
The webinar was held on Thursday, September 17th, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
