Council Talks to Colorado Consumers about
What Housing Would Mean to Them
Earlier this month, Council staff visited the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless in Denver and the health care, housing, and respite projects in Colorado Springs to talk to consumers about how #housingishealthcare. The need for more affordable housing is evident in these communities where housing has such a profound impact on health. For Karl Walker, 50 (above), housing would bring a sense of community and provide a good foundation for starting a new life. Others said that the safety and quiet of their own housing would make them healthier by allowing them to sleep better and feel safer. See more photographs on the Council's social media.
