New Alumni Board Member Nominations Due April 7, 2025
Are you interested in joining the Brebeuf Jesuit Alumni Board for the 2025-26 term or do you wish to nominate someone for the Board? You can self-nominate or nominate a fellow alum by completing the form here by April 7, 2025!
The Brebeuf Jesuit Alumni Association exists to create an organization through which alumni can contribute to the promotion, growth, development, and welfare of Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School and the Brebeuf Jesuit alumni community.
Alumni Board members can serve up to three two-year terms. The Board meets in person four times a year on campus to assist and participate in fundraising activities for Brebeuf Jesuit, to provide scholarship programs for Brebeuf Jesuit legacy students, to provide award and recognition activities for alumni, and so much more to advance the mission of Brebeuf Jesuit. Board members are expected to attend at least two meetings per year, assist with alumni programs as appropriate, and actively participate in and support Brebeuf’s fundraising efforts.
If you’ve been wanting to reconnect with your beloved alma mater in a more meaningful way, this is the perfect opportunity!

Seeking Class Agents for Upcoming Reunion Classes
We are seeking Class Agents for the following 2025 Reunion Classes: 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 2000, and 2020.
Class Agent responsibilities include:
- Serve as communications liaison between your classmates and the school
- Share updates from classmates for a feature in Alma Matters and other communications
- Assist with planning of class reunions, as well as reunion giving

Sarah (Calderon) Wenzel ‘09, graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Marian University and passed her Family Practitioner Board Exam December 2024. She hopes to continue her career in Women’s Health.

Jesuit Novices Visited Campus Last Week!
Brebeuf was blessed to host Samuel Newton, n.S.J and Winston Lombard, n.S.J. last week. Both of these men became Jesuits last August when they entered the novitiate in St. Paul. During their visit with us, they met with all the religious studies classes, to share their journey of becoming a Jesuit.

Registration for Prep@Brebeuf 2025 is Now Open!
Registration for Brebeuf Jesuit's 2025 Summer HSPT Prep and Athletic Camps is now open! Rising 8th graders can join us for a week-long High School Placement Test (HSPT) prep workshop, designed to help students improve their test-taking strategies, time management, and content knowledge across all sections of the exam. The workshop will culminate in a full HSPT exam, an essential step in the Class of 2030 admissions process. Two sessions are available: June 2-6 and June 9-13, both from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Brebeuf is also offering a variety of athletic camps this summer, including Track & Field, Boys and Girls Basketball, Softball, Football Prospect Day, and Volleyball. These camps give young athletes the chance to enhance their skills while enjoying a fun, supportive environment.

| Will Hutchinson '25 is a Finalist for Athlete of the Year in Boys Tennis!
We are excited to announce that Will Hutchinson '25 has been nominated as a finalist for Athlete of the Year in Boys Tennis as part of the 2024-25 Indiana High School Sports Awards, presented by the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever.
This prestigious recognition honors outstanding high school athletes from across the state. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Clowes Memorial Hall at Butler University, where the Player of the Year awards in each sport will be announced. We are so proud of Will for this incredible achievement!

Landon Boccone and Nikolas Sample have been named 2025 United States Presidential Scholars Program candidates!
We are pleased to announce that Landon Boccone '25 and Nikolas Sample '25 have been named candidates in the 2025 United States Presidential Scholars Program. This prestigious recognition honors some of the nation’s most distinguished graduating high school seniors. As candidates, Landon and Nikolas are among a select group of students whose achievements set them apart in academic excellence, artistic scholarship, or career and technical education.
They now have the opportunity to move forward in the selection process, which could lead to being named one of the 161 U.S. Presidential Scholars. This is a remarkable accomplishment, and we are so proud of them!
