Welcome      Grow       Serve      Celebrate

Hope everyone is safe from the bad weather. Let us know if you need anything.

It is a Christmas miracle!!! Well, actually it is not.  Thanks to your routine, faithful giving throughout the years, Parkway Hills is DEBT-FREE!!  Parkway Hills began in 1995 with a dream of offering a fresh expression of God’s love through worship, study, service and fellowship.  The church hoped to be a safe space for those who had never experienced church, to offer a place that felt like home, and to be a place for everyone so that all people may experience and grow in God’s love and grace.  We still commit to living out these original dreams.  I give thanks for the way our church family has given throughout the years so that we could celebrate this moment, but our call and our work together continues.  Sunday, January 8 at 10:45 we will celebrate the faithfulness of our church and discern our next faithful step.  Founding pastor, Rev. Bruce Taylor will be our guest preacher.  I hope you mark this service on your calendar, make plans to attend, and invite someone who may have a connection to Parkway Hills.  It will be a great day of worship and celebration together.

What an Advent season it has been.  We had a wonderful children’s service.  Thank you Pastor Haven, kids, and adult volunteers!  Last week, we were blessed by the choir and handbells.  The music was a gift!  Thank you David, choir, handbells, and sound techs. If you missed Sunday's service, watch it here. This Sunday, our youth director, Geoff Davidson will preach, and a youth girls ensemble will sing "Mary, Did You Know?".  This season of waiting and expectation is winding down.  I hope it has been a season of hope and healing for you, and I hope to see you Christmas Eve as we remember and celebrate the gift of Emmanuel, God with us.  If plans take you away from Madison, I hope you find another place of worship to mark this holy and sacred time within the story of Jesus.
