Announcing New Teaching Support: Formative Classroom Observation |
The CTE is excited to debut a new service to support classroom teaching. The formative observation process provides a means for instructors to receive and reflect on feedback in order to take informed action to improve practice and document their teaching effectiveness. The process includes (1) a visit by a CTE Faculty Teaching Associate (FTA) to the instructor’s class to observe instruction and (2) a follow-up meeting between the instructor and FTA to discuss and generate ideas.
Note: This is a pilot program for fall 2025; spaces are limited.
