Notre Dame gets its shot to help the community

Nearly 6,000 Hoosiers are expected to receive free COVID-19 vaccines Friday and Saturday (March 26 and 27) at a mass vaccination clinic outside of the Compton Family Ice Arena. The Notre Dame clinic is one of three mass vaccination sites being offered to eligible residents throughout the state. (More...)

Are you scheduled for surveillance testing Friday, April 2?

The University Testing Center will be closed on Good Friday, April 2. Faculty, staff and graduate students with surveillance testing appointments that day can reschedule to another day the week of March 29. Fan of the Moon: Clive Neal researches lunar rocks 

Clive Neal, professor of civil and environmental engineering and earth sciences, is analyzing lunar regolith — the ashy surface soil of the Moon. The regolith arrived via Apollo 17 in 1972. The 19 unopened tubes at ND are considered new samples, and Neal and graduate student Jessika Valenciano will determine the elements inside them. (More...)

There are 70 new participants in the South Bend Entrepreneurship and Adversity Program. The 12-month course leverages University and city resources to help people establish ventures as a pathway out of poverty. (More...)

Students celebrate St. Patrick's Day on campus

The Student Activities Office and its campus partners put on a special St. Patrick’s Day for students. The fun included Irish trivia, a pot of gold scavenger hunt, a Board and Brush shamrock craft and performances by the Irish Dance Club and the Notre Dame Pom Squad.
