"Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea" by Ben Clanton
"This children's graphic novel, the first in a series, pairs happy-go-lucky Narwhal with best friend Jelly, a grumpy jellyfish. These opposites-attract friends share delightful adventures, an extreme love of waffles, and big imaginations. The graphic novel format is really fun and accessible for all reading levels. I've loved reading the whole series with my child on repeat!"
— Hannah, Main Library
"A patron wrote a lovely note on our ‘How do you feel connected?’ paper chain that reads: ‘The library is where we continue to learn how to make everything better tomorrow.’" — Celine, Librarian at George Reynolds
“An adult patron picking up his Summer of Discovery prizes said Summer of Discovery was ‘a great opportunity to fall back in love with reading’ and that it ‘was nice to sit with his girls and read on the porch together’” — Celine, Librarian at George Reynolds
