GBBN Internship 

GBBN thrives to integrate research into their design process. They are actively seeking a candidate with a passion for both design and research in architecture or interior design. The candidate is expected to engage in both design and research tasks; therefore, they should be familiar with mainstream software for digital graphics and knowledgeable about quantitative and qualitative research methods. In particular, proficiency in statistics, Space Syntax analyses, and/or data visualization using advanced techniques (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, or Python) would be highly advantageous and make the candidate a strong fit. The preferred locations for the internship are their Cincinnati or Pittsburgh office, but they will also consider applications at other GBBN offices in the US, including Louisville, KY and Minneapolis, MN. They kindly request interested candidates to submit their resume and portfolio for consideration.

The School of Architecture & Design graduation recognition ceremony is a formal event that honors graduating undergraduates, masters, and doctoral students who have or will finish their degree completion requirements in the Fall 2023, Spring 2024, and Summer 2024 terms.

A live stream of the ceremony will be provided by the Lied Center of Kansas. The link to the live stream will be provided here when it is available.

In 2050, over three quarters of the world’s population will live in cities. This follow-up to Phaidon’s successful The Endless City is a close look at the issues that affect cities, and thus human life across the globe in the twenty-first century. Based on a series of conferences held by the London School of Economics, Living in the Endless City examines Mumbai, Sao Paolo and Istanbul through a series of essays by global scholars and thinkers, photographs illustrating key aspects of life in the three cities, and compellingly presented analytical data.
